New Jersey Stallion Auction Begins January 20
The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association of New Jersey (TBANJ) will hold its annual Stallion Season Auction Monday, January 20, through Monday, January 27. The auction will take place on the online bidding platform
Thoroughlybred.
You can view the list of available seasons
here. Additional seasons will be added until the auction begins on January 20, including stallions in the Mid-Atlantic region.
All participants must register with Thoroughlybred before they can bid. If you are not yet registered, please go here. One of the many great features of Thoroughlybred is its automatic bidding process. This allows participants to enter the maximum amount they are willing to pay for a season. A maximum bid is a confidential figure that will bid on your behalf if someone raises the bid. Only the smallest amount needed from your maximum bid will be used to place your bid, and Thoroughlybred will continue to bid for you until either your maximum amount is reached or you are the high bidder.
All proceeds from the stallion auction will go directly to TBANJ to support the promotion of the New Jersey Thoroughbred breeding industry.
